BFM® fitting.

Product Overview.

BFM® fitting is the world’s first snap-in flexible connector. This unique innovation is greatly improving powder handling processes worldwide, making them cleaner, safer and more efficient. The patented BFM® system combines specially designed grooved spigots and a connecting sleeve with integral snap bands which, critically, locate internally within the spigots. This revolutionary design allows effortless “snap in” installation.

  • Used in all powder handling industries – from food & pharma to minerals & chemical
  • 100% dust tight seal, no leakage – preventing product escape to atmosphere.
  • New level of hygiene – eliminating product contamination and build up.
  • Quicker & safer maintenance – no-tool, snap-in installation reduces the risk of injury during replacement and maintenance time.
  • Solves difficult connections – highly effective in vibratory and gyratory applications.

Excels with Sieves, Screens and Sifters

The BFM fitting system is used with great success around the world in hundreds of different applications handling a multitude of materials, replacing hose clamp connectors on; silos & hoppers, mixers & blenders, conveyors & feeders, filling machines, metal detectors and rotary valves, to name but a few! But BFM is particularly renowned for being able to improve the performance of sieves and sifters. The snap-in design and dust tight seal are highly successful at containing the material at this key point of production, ensuring more product stays within the process and dust emission is minimised.

More than just a connector

Whilst BFM fitting is primarily used as a flexible connector between pipework or machinery, the system is highly versatile and is used for a number of other applications. BFM Blanking Caps can be used to prevent contamination during clean down or change-over, or as site glass / inspection hatches. Blanking socks are ideal for sifter oversize collection bins. And conical BFM connectors can be used as hopper cones for certain lightweight materials.
